Welcome to the Isle of Wight Group of Advanced Motorists

We are a group of people who love driving cars, motorbikes, commercials, minibuses, in fact, if it has an engine in it, we will try and drive it!  In existence for over forty years we meet most months to discuss the finer points of driving and riding.  Road safety is our prime concern and acquiring advanced motoring skills will boost your confidence and enhance your on-road enjoyment.

Based on the beautiful Isle of Wight and offering support towards nationally recognised advanced driving or riding qualifications. Preparation for your advanced test is available here on the Island by nationally recognised, qualified observers/tutors.  We work closely with our adjacent mainland advanced Groups to help provide all driving and riding for both IAM Roadsmart and RoSPA advanced courses.
